Skin is your largest organ, and a hot shower holds it under the tap for ten minutes at a stretch. Yet the jug in the fridge gets the filter — and the shower gets nothing.

Will it reduce my water pressure?
We haven’t published our own flow measurement yet, so we won’t quote a number. PureFlow is an inline canister, not a flow restrictor. If your pressure drops and you’re not happy, the 90-day guarantee covers a full refund.
How often do I replace the cartridge?
Every 90 days for an average household, or sooner with very hard water. The cartridge darkens as it collects what it catches, but colour alone doesn’t tell you how much life is left, so go by the calendar.
Does it fit my shower?
PureFlow uses the standard ½-inch thread that fits virtually every shower arm and handheld in the US. It installs between your arm and your existing head in about a minute.
What does it catch?
Chlorine, through coconut-shell carbon, KDF-55 copper-zinc and calcium sulfite. Heavy metals, through KDF-55. Rust, grit, sediment and other particulates, including larger microplastic fragments, through a stainless mesh and then PP cotton finer than a hair. It doesn’t soften water, kill bacteria or catch nano-scale plastic.
My TDS meter didn’t change. Is it working?
Right meter, wrong test. TDS reads dissolved minerals, which a shower filter isn’t built to remove. Use a chlorine test strip before and after, or pull the cartridge at 90 days.
Does it soften hard water?
No. Nothing at the shower head does. Hard water needs a softener at the mains.
Is it certified for microplastics?
No shower filter is. The only standard for microplastic reduction, NSF/ANSI 401, covers drinking water filters. PureFlow’s mesh and PP cotton are built for particulates including larger plastic fragments. Nano-scale particles are beyond what any shower filter is tested for.
When will I notice a difference?
Chlorine smell is the first thing to check, since KDF-55 works from the first shower. Give skin and hair a few weeks. If you don’t feel a difference by 90 days, that’s what the guarantee is for.
